Day 164 - 2010

Algeria : Slovenia 0:1 Slovenia looked really good. With their win they moved in first place in front of England and the US Germany : Australia 4:0 Super game, great play by the German team, the best yet. Serbia : Ghana 0:1

 

After the fourth time in line for the pool pass, we finally made it. I just don’t get how they can organize it so badly. While waiting for the line, I had to spend the $9.99 for a month for MobiTV to start watching the German soccer team.

The highlight of the day was definitely the German soccer game.

plan? So I’m really mad that we wasted so much time getting the pool passes. So here is the Association who decided to issue new passes all around. Given the fact that everybody has to show up who wants a pool pass, it should be relatively easy to calculate how many people have a pass already and plan accordingly. In the first go around there were people out the door, two older ladies who took the paperwork, yes, paper!!! ONE person who operated the computer which was connected to a cheap camera. The only thing they had ready were the preprinted cards. Knowing that they just purchased a new system it makes me wonder why they did not utilize it to the max. Anyway, the second time around was the same story, the third time the camera broke (no backup), finally the fourth time there were still people out the door. I bypassed the line by getting my paperwork and went straight to the picture taking line. All in all – totally disorganized and unprofessional.
