Day 154 - 2010

Again programming, it is a little bit more than I thought and planned for. Just have to stop to automate stuff.

I dropped Abby off at DST after we initiated the pool pass ritual at the Ashburn Association. They issued new passes for everyone.

I went to browse through Home Depot for plants. The Boston Ferns looked awful, but here is my all time favorite.

Around 4PM it started raining, thunder etc so I cancelled practice for tonight. Would you know it, around 7PM it was nice and clear @#$%^.

BTW

Buddy system

Several month ago I spoke with one of the guys who works in the administration for the Ashburn Farm Home Owners Association about the database usage. He told me that they are looking to implement a new system. Needless to say I gave him my card.

I talked to him while waiting for the pool pass registration to open. Apparently the AFHOA got a new database. As he put it “we had it now for four weeks and nobody can operate it”, LOL. So the story goes that one of the board members knew somebody who knew a buddy of somebody and that’s how they got their database. What is wrong with some research for a viable solution? I guess everybody is an expert.
